About
Thirty Years of Putting Copiers in Offices
JR Copier is an independent office equipment dealer headquartered in Blaine, Minnesota, selling, leasing, renting and servicing copiers and printers for businesses across the United States.
Independent, on purpose
We are not a single-manufacturer shop, and that matters more than it sounds like it should. A dealer tied to one brand has to make that brand the answer to every question, whether you print 2,000 pages a month or 200,000, whether you need heavy finishing or just a machine that scans reliably.
Because we carry Ricoh, Kyocera, Xerox, Canon, Sharp, Konica Minolta, HP, Brother and Epson, the recommendation can follow the requirement. Sometimes that means a $995 desktop unit instead of the floor-standing machine you came in asking about. We would rather sell you the smaller one and keep you for fifteen years.
No-haggle pricing
Copier sales earned its reputation for a reason: inflated list prices, theatrical discounts, and service costs buried inside a lease payment so nothing can be compared. We price the equipment, we price the service, and we publish both. Our explanation of lease rate factors exists so you can check our arithmetic and everyone else's.
Service is the actual product
Every dealer sells the same machines. What differs is what happens on the Tuesday your finisher stops stapling in the middle of a board packet. Our target is four hours on site during business hours, and we close 86 percent of calls on the first visit, which is only possible because our technicians carry parts for the brands they cover rather than ordering them after diagnosis.
We also service machines we did not sell. If your current provider has slowed down, you can move the service contract without replacing the equipment.
How we cover the country
Our own technicians run daily routes across the Twin Cities metro and greater Minnesota. Outside that footprint, equipment ships from regional distribution and service runs through a partner network we have spent three decades building and pruning. Multi-state accounts get one agreement, one invoice and one phone number regardless of where the machines sit.
If you are evaluating us for a site outside Minnesota, ask us to name the servicing partner for that address before you sign. We will.
